Are their any rules for grappling or holding?
It came up yesterday in a game and I just used a MAT attack to initiate grapple. Defender defends at +5 (because attacker is unarmed).
If attack does 'damage' - damage is negated but grapple is started.
Next turn (attacker or defender), contested BOD+ST. If attacker wins, still held. If defender wins, breaks free of grapple.
While grappled, defender is -2 (additional -2 / size category smaller than attacker) on all checks attempted and cannot move.
An attacker cannot grapple a target +1 size category larger than himself. While grappling, an attacker cannot perform other actions, but may 'squeeze' the defender for 3 points defendable damage/ round.
Good?
