Hallo zusammen,

Cool. :D

First, I would like to apologize for not answering in German, especially on a German board, and I'll spare you the Google Translation. ;)
Sewer rats is an adventure created by Kalajel, to whom we owe the Zombie- and Corpseslayers supplements for :ds: 3.5.
And here, I'll be hijacking the thread...
The French Community is small but relentless. They're fans from all over the world: Belgium, France, Quebec and Switzerland.
We've seen a few blogs blossom and carry on with their own material about the game: game reports, opinions and stuff about gaming in general always with a :ds: and OSR tone.
About the the actual French team, for the last 2 or 3 years, we worked mainly on translations, Vik Le Roy (vikleroy on the forum) is quite amazing at that, translating fanwerks from German and English. I did my part translating the whole DS4, giving it a quite different look while remaining faithful to the text of the original version.
Thanks again to DargNDorp for helping out and all the players/readers who tested / proofread the "beast".
I know it's awkward to raise the issue here, but the French edition – commercially speaking – seems to be stuck in limbos. The Mute Gods of Publishing don't seem to be on the side of :ds:. Despite our repeated offers to help, in any way we can, there is no clear vision of its future.
At a community level, I think a frank discussion about :ds: in French would be much encouraging to the fans and many others, watching us work, and maybe persuade them to support the game.
It won't happen here, but just some words from the Main Man, CK, would mean much. :-)

I can't say anything about a french print edition (till now), we have much problems with the english version. Our first publisher was a big fail and while recovering from this "connection" we started talkings with another company a few weeks ago.
So - when this is done I think it would be possible to talk about a french printed version :)

Thanks, CK, for you answer. It's quite appreciated.
Everybody here and many people around love you game. DS hasn't received all the support it deserved. Yet. ;-)
