Hi all
I was thinking recently about the fanwerk for "heldenadepten"
The fact is, that if you want to build a Paladin for example, you must take the new talent "Heldenadept", and your progression is lower than other players, because you must take every 2 levels for example a new rank on
heldenadept if you want to progress in the paladin's talents.
Dungeonslayers
is built like that, you have to wait the 10th level to reach a new class, instead of basic warrior, archer and mage.
So if you want to play a paladin, you have to wait the 10th level. I'm not sure it's very good for players who like diversification.
You can't play a bard for example (you must take the heldenadepten I for Bard, that you can access to a talent specific for a bard in a fanwerk)
I don't know, if I don't take the "heldenadept" talent, if the game will be unbalanced or not.
If the paladin is just a warrior with the cure spell, it isn't so strong (more if there is no healer in the group).
I take another exemple: I want to play a cleric. Why not just limit for example talents you can gain at level 12 (Dämonen zerschmettern for example) , gain acces at level 2, but only on 1 rank? You can take other ranks after the level 12.
There are so many possibilities to build your character, that I can think, there are many ways to have a strong guy (warrior with Verletzen, with an axe, and waffenkenner at level 8) so you don't have to fear heldenklassen at low level.
Do you know if there exists another house rules about that?
What do you think about this reflexion. I don't know much about high level characters, perhaps I don't see something important.
